repair or replacement of you Bunn Home Brewer coffee maker.
The model number is located on the sides of the carton in which the coffeemaker
was sold, and the six-digit date code is stamped on a small white or silver
sticker on top of the carton (if there is a seventh digit on the carton date
code, ignore it and use the first six digits). In addition, the model number
and date code are stamped on small white or silver stickers on the bottom of
the coffeemaker.
Because the water inside your coffeemaker will be hot, do not attempt to check
the model number or date code stickers on the bottom of the coffeemaker without
first turning off and unplugging the coffeemaker and then allowing the water
inside the coffeemaker to cool.
You may cool the water inside the coffeemaker using one of two methods:
Method A:

Turn off the vacation switch on the left side of the coffeemaker.

Unplug the coffeemaker.

Wait at least three hours for the water in the tank to cool.

Set the decanter and filter basket aside.

Unscrew the sprayhead that is located underneath where you removed the filter
basket.

Take the coffeemaker over to a sink, and tilt it forward over the sink. Water
will come out from the sprayhead area. Keep tilting until empty.

Write down the model number and six-digit date code located on the bottom of
the coffeemaker.
Method B:

Turn off the vacation switch on the left side of the coffeemaker.

Unplug the coffeemaker.

Pour a full decanter of fresh cold water into the brewer, set the decanter back
on the warmer, and then close the lid. Water will flow into the decanter.

After the water stops flowing, discard the hot water in the decanter.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 one more time.

Set the decanter and filter basket aside.

Unscrew the sprayhead that is located underneath where you removed the filter
basket.

Take the coffeemaker over to a sink, and tilt it forward over the sink. Water
will come out from the sprayhead area. Keep tilting until empty.

Write down the model number and six-digit date code located on the bottom of
the coffeemaker.
